Anyone know a good place to buy a used welder?
My former employer decided they wanted there welder back, so I need to buy a new one. Looking for a Mig unit, must be american (Miller, Lincoln, Hobart, couple others). It needs to be 110v but I'd prefer 110/220 switchable. Looking for a mid range unit, something that can do 5/16, maybe a bit heavier on 220. I already have a bottle and gas regulator, just need the actual unit itself.

Might be interested in a tig setup if I can find one for the right price.

I'm actually in the market right now for the same thing....and not having luck finding any used stuff. But there are some pretty good deals out there on new last year models and such like Dr. Buick says. I'm looking at the Millermatic 140 AutoSet or the Miller 211 with AutoSet if I decide to have the capability of 230V.

Alright. CL doesn't have jack, and I can understand why. Most people don't sell GOOD tools.
I'm hoping to spend less than 800 or so. There is a chance I'll be taking Tig class soon, and I'd love to buy one, but those tend to be 14-1900 with the controls.

I have a 211 and really like it so far. The dual voltage and ability to add a spool gun for aluminum is what pushed me over the top on this machine.
