From what he said starting next year he will be constructing a 60,000g hex type tank in his backyard. Should be interesting to see progress on that.

I know he said his electricity bill is $1500/mo.

But than again thats only a small part of the upkeep. You have to figure in salt, equipment upkeep, coral, fish, food, etc. So my estimate is about $2000-2500/mo.

Wow, didn't think there was anything like that around here. Some of that equipment is gigantic! (8 foot tall skimmers?!) My 150g I'm working on setting up for aggressive SW fish seems a little inadequate now. :( Was this one of the WRS meetings at a members house?

Page 10 has a photo with a few of his cars, and on page 6 or 7 he had his modena 360 engine laying on the floor of his garage after he blew it up. He does everything himself, would love to meet this guy. What a killer setup

I have a fish tank like that... In the Sims 3 :(

Also I see after reading that thread why dude has this kinda money.. He obviously is VERY intelligent and works his ass off. He made his own computer systems to run the tank....and prolly took that 360 engine out cause to him that shit isnt even remotely complicated. Im jealous and impressed.
