garage floor water diverter?

im basically looking for something to put down the middle of the garage floor to prevent any melted snow, etc from making its way over to the side where i store my Z. i dont have a drain (something like a long thick rubber piece of molding?)

Does anyone know of any particular product or have any ideas on what may work? My other thought was putting down a tarp, lying 2x4s under it down the center of the garage.

I would think a 25' section of garden hose pulled straight with a landscape brick on either end to hold it in place would work fine. You shouldn't have THAT much water in your garage anyways right?

PL200 adhesive and some 2x2's, glue them to the floor screw 'em in the corners.

To the outside and the rest of the garage yes. There is a access door on the side to get in and that side has heat, a work bench, and all my tools.

I was worried about the salt drying on the floor as you see in the pic and becoming airborne.

I seen these also and they work well but are not 100% ideal for every situation......

I'm not sure how much water i'll get in the garage. I just bought the house in July, and its the first time i'll have both cars in the garage. (prior house my Z was the only car in the garage)

The tarp route may be the best bet for money and not physically building or affixing anything to the garage floor.

seeing that I love wasting money on things, hate working on the car in the cold, and just being able to say I store my car in a capsule...may persuade me to go this route

What I like about the car capsule is the fact that most things that get dropped against it will bounce right off instead of hitting the car.
