Got it for the PC. Had it pre-downloaded. I played it today and the campaign is a bit short. It only took me about 4.5 hours to beat it and that includes some decent breaks.

It was still fun though.

Got it for my ps3. I took a half day of personal time so I could play all afternoon while the wife was at work and the kids at daycare.

Its worth it, great game. Its kinda tough but awesome. I went straight to multiplayer as well.

the sucky thing is, most people will hop right out of this game's multiplayer right into call of duty when it comes out. SO enjoy the two weeks or so you do have. I'd rather have BF3, but I just see too many people hopping out of it into COD when the time comes.

is the single player fun, or did everyone skip past that? i know mark said it was short, but was it worth a damn at all?

I enjoyed it Chris. Nothing super crazy but there were some fun moments. I would recommend doing it. Like I said it's short so if you do it and didn't like it, its not like you wasted tons of time on it.

I probably won't even buy COD. I like battlefields game play a lot better.

Xbox / EA servers were terrible last night, i got to play for a lil while but had a lot of trouble getting in.
played some of the single player, not too bad so far.

I had heard about the 360 side for EAs servers. They were having mad problems. PC and PS3 servers were good to go and had zero issues.

Im gonna say they may also have issues when the new COD launches.

depends if they can handle the extra load on the servers and bandwiith. I went out and bought a XBOX with Kinect thinking MW3 would be Kinect ready but was wrong. The salemans said that there are to many fat gamers that would sue Mircosoft when they almost drop dead from to much excerise. Still it would kick 10 kinds of ass tho. I would have to get a rubber m-16. I think they could be bought online somewhere.

Was going to rent BF3 for a day or 2 and get my FPS legs back. Last time I played a FPS (counterstrike)needed to chew gum so I wouldn't get motion sick. This should be a blast.
