cheap car wanted

Blew up the jeep, need a beater to run around for awhile till I can get it going. Anything out there? The cheaper the better, a little work is fine. Looks dont matter.

My daughter wants to sell her 98 Cavalier. Its the 2.2L I think (the "new" motor) and a 5 speed. Decent shape looks wise, a little rust on the drivers door it was parked on the street by previous owner so the street side got some chips that then rusted would be my guess. Great mileage, runs great. Has a CD player. Only issue is I had the slave cylinder leak a while back, I replaced it as well as the master and it worked perfect for a month or two then it had trouble disengaging. I bled the crap out of it and it now disengages the clutch but still not totally it seems, you have to clunk it into gear a bit when stopped. Once driving it seems fine. Shes been daily driving it like that for months lol, it actually drives fine but I would obivously say the slave cylinder is still not "right". Since it drives fine I have been less then motivated to pull the trans and take a look again for her. There is a one year warranty on the slave and master so parts would be free if it bothered you enough to actually tear into it. I'd start by asking like $800 for it or something around that range. I also have a 1997 Civic EX coupe for sale. 160k, auto, all power functions except passenger lock, AC and heat, aftermarket radio, has cosmetic issues, all glass is good, a few square inches of rust.
The bad: engine misfires occasionally, engine missing a mount (clunks), needs an alignment, has been in an accident.
