Does the auto body shop have a dyno? Is it a dynojet or mustang dyno? Do they tune at all?

thanks :cool2:

Awww!! Need....more.....notice....!! :goof
Anyone have an idea how many cars attend? Is this like a large car show, or just a handful of cars on site at a time?

handful of cars at a time. it's not a regular dyno place, just an event they setup every year from my understanding.

I went today with Ryan. My car obviously isnt ready. It was a good time and some real nice cars there, even in the shitty weather. I'll go again if you go Kory.

1200+ HP. Suposedly pegged the Dyno. It was the Red 1965-7 Malibu. That thing was sweet. Freaking loud with the Dyno in the building.

Do you have any more information on the 1200+HP car? Was it a big block nitrous motor?

Maroon/Candy 1965 Chevelle, 540 BB w/ nitrous yes. Tranny with a shifter for every gear, I cant remember the name off hand.

Were there any really high HP street cars?

I saw it dyno- and then got to dyno my POS right after it. :chair:

No idea what size of motor exactly, other than that it was a big block. That thing made 200whp at IDLE! When they were getting ready to stomp on it for the dyno he had his buddy open the trunk and open the bottles- he was in there for a while so I'm assuming there wasnt just one. :) The dyno readout actually said something like 1186hp if I remember right, but one of the operators said it didnt actually read fast enough and the he really did do more than 1200.

I saw a lot of very nice cars do some dynoing- and a new stock GTO put down about 294rwhp. The loudest by far when I was there was a Chevelle if I remember right- I know it had a 427 running open headers, it was actually a bit louder than the Malibu. I have video of that one if anybody wants it or of my slow ass Buick.

Tough act to follow, I'd imagine :goof

If you're willing, I'd be interested to hear your peak HP w/RPM and TQ w/RPM on your Regal GS.

Yeah I was super excited to follow THAT. My car is being a woman and not cooperating, I'm getting false knock from somewhere which is killing me. Cant trap above 95mph anymore. My numbers are very low for my mods- even though I dont have much anyways, 213hp@5600rpm to the wheels and 259lb ft@3600rpm. I figured I'd at least see exactly how much power I'm making/ or not making. Car runs perfectly fine other than not making enough power. Its still a very good daily driver.
