the drag racing stuff is hard. seems they take into account the reaction time, or i'm using the wrong quick race setting

I played for about 2 hours and had more fun making the Saleen. Pretty cool game so far, but the drag racing is gay again. So far the BOSS 9 has 950 hp and the Saleen has 1089 hp and does 219 in the standing mile.

Slowly but surely working on it. I have a TON of vinyl groups for Hurst and other things that I am putting together to be able to do more vehicles. I made the "ROYAL" alot closer to the original if you look at the above post. Have the white outline and the black shadow with the light red "slashes" through it. Same for the C/S and the Ace Wilson having the white outline, just a tiny bit of it. I'm not the best photo taker so deal with that, haha

The more I play this game I do not see a huge difference between forza 3. Tempted to take it back. They completely hosed the drag racing.

There isn't. But there is a new set of challenges, some new tracks, and some new cars, and since I only paid $30 for the game, I'll keep it and work towards finishing it. I do have a kinect sensor... I should try out that function of the game.

ive only got one car done up where i like the way it looks so far ive only got about 3 hours into the game tho lol. my javelin looks kick ass has 500 hp and drag slicks no hook what so ever. playing some more tonight since i'm off friday

If any of you want anything specific, logo wise, let me know. Just got finished the "Lakewood" suspension logo for one of the old cars. Doing up a Cragar one and some other small stuff. You can see the Lakewood one in the marketplace. I have more fun with the painting than the racing, hah

man Forza 4 has to have some of the worst AI on the computer opponents than any other forza game. It's unreal... computers BLASTING me right off the track. A simple nudge is one thing, but holy shit!

Still have a bit to do on this one. Need to do the hurst logo for the front, the word "Dodge" above rear wheelwells and then the "Hemi" and the "Dart" on the rear stripes and a couple other things

each logo is custom done by me since i want to put it up for sale(the design) and you can use others artwork if you want to do that. there are some much better logos out there.

I've been driving this thing since I picked the game up. Currently in B class, and actually pretty competitive. Nothing funnier than running away from FD's and Ferrari's. HA.

Next up, desert camo vinyl...and probably putting the stock front bumper back on with the winch.

Yep, been playing with the tuning a lot...getting it to slide is the secret to getting around corners. Stiffened her up a lot. Race slicks, full weight reduction (drops it from 8,000lb to 5,900...lol) and slammed 5". lol.

As for power, I'm not sure exactly what it's putting down, but I think it's around 500HP and 900ft-lbs or so. It's AWD in the game, too.

Then just tune away and keep restarting to make more passes. Atleast then the car won't move till the green light goes on. I have a 10.90 Dart tune for class A. Ranked 75th and that includes all the pre-patch tunes that had more traction on the track. Lots of people pisssed about the update taking away traction on the dragstrip.

So that was what the "game update" was that I got right away when I first put the disc in? Rather disappointing, considering I have only started playing it for 4 hours, and part of that time was spent exploring the game and entering all of my codes.

But yeah, no real world relation at all. There is a huge complaint from lots of people on the forza site in the strip section about it. Lots of guys have made and sold tunes that no longer work because of patch and people wasted credits

finally got around to building the trans am. I swear it took me atleast 3 hours just to do the little things i did on this car the stripes and ceta bumper were easy the bird and pontiac filler in the back took some time and alot of layers lol. too bad they won't let me put decal on the trans am on the doors :(

started buying up all the ferrari's since that is an achievement and I had a couple million just sitting. tried to make some more money in the auction house with some other cars, but the affinity stuff really screws you. such a low level gives you 100% off.

Real simple buy any paintable rim paint it the color you want then go back and find the rims with chrome lip you want and the center should be painted. Now this will not work with all of them I cant remember which ones so you might just have to go until you find the ones you want to use.

That's pretty cool.

Mikey, I did that, but there are only a couple of them that have the chrome lip, and it's very few. I went searching for that for my Gulf #6 GT40 paintjob I did. Amazingly you can paint the middle of the halibrands. They made them bright chrome, yet they were never made in bright chrome till just recently, they were always that simple finish.

PS - they did a HELL of a job with the SVT Raptor. Have you guys checked out the front end/wings that you can put on it? awesome
