The rivalry feature is pretty neat. Can use the ghosts of a friend that is ahead of you time wise. Don't know if that was on FM3 or not but just has been fun trying to get better and better lap times

there's only one track. but there are 3 options of races you can do under the "rivalry" section. one has the pagani, the next has the M5, and the last as the ferrari. the pagani is the only one that you race the track in traffic.

yeah that is all I use is manual. helps on cornering also.

Is it? In Forza 3 at least, all the cars were "manual"...and the computer would shift for you when set to "auto". None of the cars behaved like an automatic transmisison...if that makes any sense. I guess you'd be able to wind it past redline a little bit farther than the computer would, but that can't be that much faster...

I think the demo is okay. The AI and the damage model both still suck. AI on hard, ALL assists off, full manual everything, and I still won all 3 races on my first try. 12 cars on the track is pretty cool, I'm looking forward to the car content...The game should be pretty fun.

i was playing with some freinds the other night we kept going back and forth. its not the fastest time that wins its the fastest clean lap you pull i pulled a 1.42 with the bmw and my buddy did it in 1.49 but no crashes so he was higher on the list damn him!

I just pre-ordered my copy from bestbuy.com. Comes with a code for a free bonus car, a BMW 1 M Coupe. Looking forward to picking it up on tuesday and then watching the quality of my school work decline drastically

No idea. I pre paid for it online so all I do is bring my receipt to the store any time after October 11th and I'll walk out with my copy of FM4. Website said they will hold my copy for up to a week

No idea. I preordered mine at lunch. Also looked at the wireless speed wheel. Not sure if I can justify the $60 for what you get.

Thought about the wheel. Sure it is better than the XBOX wheel that I bought when Forza 3 came out but it still works for me.

Best Buy screwed a lot of people over with the LCE Pre-order, me included. I hope no one else is affected. I have looked everywhere and I cannot find another LCE available.

Well you get it automatically with the LCE, if you get the season pass it is considered downloadable content. For $30 bucks (at least that was what I was told) you cant really go wrong as you would be spending a lot more to download them with microsoft points. IF you have the LCE and you get the season pass, you get an additional 250,000 game credits.

Chris you can also get the muscle car pack if you buy the season pass which is 30 bucks and gets you the first 6 dlc as they are released.

i picked mine up this morning now i just have to wait til i get off of work tonight to start playing. i skipped on the LCE, but ill probably purchase the pass.

also heard i get some free cars for playing forza3 and my vip cars from forza are suppose to transfer over as well.

also on the marketplace they have a free 2012 bmw m5 for download as well.

yep, got the regular and the season pass. guy at the gamestop got me the free car from them, the package includes the free bmw m5 and a couple of bonus tracks it says.

so the only thing i miss out on i guess is all the LCE content, which no big deal.

quick question, i'm assuming all this DLC is only for free play fun, not like you actually have the car in your garage at this point for your career then? I downloaded all my codes, but I don't have that stuff in my garage. it's downloaded and if i go to market place it says it's already been downloaded.

you will quickly. I just did the F-class tour, and then went back to complete all the f-class races. there are TONS of them, haha.

Hardest part is picking cars sometimes. The level 5 choices are :
66 Nova SS / 65 Mustang GT Coupe / 1960 Corvette / 57 Thunderbird / 65 GTO

I went GTO, haha. Then to pick the color, damn, haha.

^^^In a nutshell, yes. I am going to be spending more than the 80 bucks (minus the 10 I pud down already and the 36 dollar game trade in credit) for the LCE and the 30 for the season pass. I also have to renew my "live" subscription as well. How much is it to renew and what are the legnths of time? The former owner of my xbox was nice enough to leave the exhisting subscription on it when I bought it from him, so I have been using his old handle which I will probably change when I renew it.
