Hi. I was wondering where some good spot to buy metals are. I am looking to build an off road trailer.

I had a recommendation for a spot that sold wood and metal (3rd and 2nd street somewhere) which would sell me surplus metal for a cheaper price but I lost the paper.

I am sure there are other spots around the area so any recommendation would be appreciated. Not too familiar with the area and don't know anyone who welds besides myself. Thanks.

Maybe this place would sell you some . They build trailers too so maybe they could sell you some "scraps" .

They do have everything when it comes to trailers . (They did when I was there 10 years ago .....)

Miller Compressing has a building with a big sign on the side that says "Usable steel sales" might be worth looking into.

In Milwaukee. I'm willing to travel 30 miles out. This would also help data base spots for future reference too.
