Looking for recommended body shops that have experience working on modified cars. If you don't have first hand experience with a place, I'm not interested in hearing about it. I am looking for HIGH quality work, attention to detail, and I don't mind paying a premium for it if necessary. Savings pennies here is NOT the goal.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of my car's rear end swinging around and doing a 180 at GLD last week and hitting the concrete barrier . Plenty of damage, but going to fix it regardless. Joy.

Input welcome.

Regards,
JR

They do IMO they best work in Milwaukee. They do a lot of high end autos for an array of different people. They did three of my buddies rides including one who used to work there.
Sorry to hear about your car and GL.

I'm so sad to read this, but I know you'll get that car back to the beautiful thing that it is.

I was there that night and was on the starting line when your unfortunate accident happened. If it means anything at all consider yourself lucky that it wasn't further down the track when you had some serious mph going.
Never the less high quality craftmanship and topnotch people is what you are looking for, then a site sponsor Authentic Automotive (Dr Ford) is where I recommend going. The results that come out of his shop are 2nd to none.

x2 on authentic, I've seen a number of cars (repair and resto) come out of there with great results. Jim is pretty easy to deal with as well, straight forward.

wow that sucks. Sorry to hear that and glad you werent hurt. I have had my car painted by Keith aka GRNDL at his shop Car Craft in Hartland and his shop does awesome work! I would also add another vote for Authentic auto as well since I have personally had work done by them for a client.

Authentic - Dr. Ford painted my Challenger this year. Awesome work, very fair price, and certainly he is no stranger to "specialty" cars.

I will never trust any other shop again for body or paint work on one of my toys I will go right to Authentic!

Dave Salvaggio is at Aloha's old shop. Skeeter did some fab work on cars built there. I don't know if they do collision work, their cars speak for themselves.

They've built cars such as the one in this link

And Bill runs Kaliber in Port Washington. My father has known/had work done with him for 30+ years. He's done stuff for me for 8 or so years.

If you can find a more standup person than Todd at Gillette, I would be surprised.
