Just upgraded from a 3.06 open rear end to a 3.92 LSD. Hoping to break into the 12s tonight.

Well, i shaved off .5 seconds. Went from a 13.72 to a 13.206 @ 107 mph with a 1.996 60 foot. Some minor tuning and maybe a bigger throttle body and 12s could be feasible.

HWY driving is interesting now. In 5th gear at 75 mph the engine is revving at 3k

Does that thing have a 5 or 6 speed?my guess based on the rpm's is that it's a 5 speed...the auto isn't known for a tall OD ratio (.8x:1 iirc).

Its an Auto. Thats why the 3.92 isnt offered from the factory in the Automatic, the revvs are too high.

Using the factory rear end, 3.06, 3.23, 3.55.
With the Factory Getrag rear end, 3.06 and 3.92

If you do the ford 8.8 swap, skys the limit.

Ain't no way your gonna hit 12's without a supercharger or some kind of power adder..

You might be able to do it N/A but you'd have to put the car on a serious diet and change to 4.30's.

A handheld tuner, cold air, and 3.73's ain't gonna get it.

Well I was referring to the low 13's since I was running slightly better times last year before the new tune, gears, and clutch.

Amazing how you know so much about my car when I don't know who you are, or do I?

Really? Well then, if that is the case, then you would of also seen that I am only a few hp shy of another member on here who was in the low 13's.

But then again, I can prove my car is real, and I can provide proof of what my car ran last year with less stuff. Can you?

Way to shit all over dudes thread. Back on topic, that Challenger is so fucking hot. Did you ever end up doing the hood? I thought that you had a thread up sometime ago looking to potnetially go ram air? Or was that someone else that Im thinking of?

No, i decided against the hood. I did installed a panel on the bottom side of the factory hood to make the scoops functional. The next step is a torque converter and drag radials/slicks.

Cute, but it still doesn't change the fact that you are playing this secret squirrel bull shit. I am rather open on what is done to my car. I am also rather realistic with what my car can do. All we have heard is talk, side stepping, and excuses. I don't see what is so hard about taking 1 pic of your car, unless you have something to hide.

I wonder what the fastest challenger on a stock diff is.

Its a ton of money to do the conversion, probably just gunna stick with what i have. I plan on building the trans and doing some head work in the furture.

It is not like you have a weak rear end like gm put in the f-bodies either.

My factory 215mm Benz rear end was. I now have the same case and gearset as the Viper minus the VisrLock limited slip. I have a Trac lock LSD.

D44 IRS? I thought the challenger had a stick axle in it.

I've got some crappy IRS in mine although I think the stubs are the starting weak point :(
