Running miniature V8's???

I remember seeing in HotRod or something about 10 years ago a guy that built miniature V8 engines that actually ran. Does anyone know where to find info on these? Guess my web-search skills are running low.

Does anyone else remember those or ever heard of them?

There are some people out there who make miniature engines for RC airplanes. They don't stop at 8, I have an old Model Aviation with a scratch-built V12 and an 18 cylinder radial.. I think the 8 is about 5 cu in and the radial is 12-15. I will try to find the photo and try to scan it.

Hmmm thats cool. I know this guy used to build and sell them for 1/4 (I think) RC roadsters and such. How cool would that be though to replicate a fender shaking RAT motor that fits in your hand. And then get to fire it up and drive it around! :3gears:
