Im thinking of having Sid put on one of those clear bras. Thoughts, advice, have someone else do it? Getting the front end all redone on the LS factory fresh.

I've seen a few in person and they look great. If I had a new car I would have one put on in a heartbeat.

I don't know what he charges but I would also checkout Blackout on Hwy 100. I hear they do them too.

Why bother on a near 20 year old non-collectible car?

It's 7 years old and it's nice to have a perfect front-end and keep it that way.

price would be nice, keep the front of the TL-S clean would be good also

My wife has a 2010 White Chevy Equinox and I was thinking bout getting one. Until I saw that they run like $350.

Yeah, but it's probably near triple that to prep and repaint a bumper and hood after 5 years due to a million chips. I guess white chip marks aren't as bad on a white car, but it's bad on a dark car.

I just called blackout and they said they don't do them. They referred me to Premiere Paint in Waukesha but I called them and they said no too. So who DOES do this?

when I went to blackout he said he has some guy come in and do them when he has a few cars to do at a time.

Sorry, I was told they did it. I was hoping they did because they do an amazing job with tint.

I heard they can cause paint damage when removed......is this true?

You're thinking of old fashioned leather bras.

You can buy the stuff for fairly cheap, are they that hard to put on? Ive put one on my rear bumper once and a few vinyl stripes its the same basic process. I know a front bumper would be a lot harder, but $50 a roll is a lot better than $350 even in you screw up and have to do it twice your still way a head.
