I "want" it to be cool, but it just looks the same as the Trans Am converted 5th gen camaro, just doesn't look right at all

Yeah...these things never look good, or at least as good as the sketches that these guys come up to convince others to move forward with these ideas. I think one of the most ill-conceived vehicles was the chevelles made from GTO's:

Didn't Aloha up in port (and now closed iirc) do these? In any event, I don't disparage the skill of the guys who put these together...it's just that it doesn't translate to a very attractive product. The proportions were designed for a different look.

Though I'll say that that kind of what the superbird was from the get go: A b-body mopar (plymouth roadrunner) with a aero changes grafted on. It was a little less complete than the very rare dodge daytona charger, but never-the-less a very effective conversion to compete with the aero fords of the time. Who knows...at the time these cars came out, hundreds, if not thousands sat on dealers lot even YEARS after they were produced due to them being quite gharish. Maybe that is what they were going for here, lol.

The problem is the sharp body lines mixed with the round sides of a gto. Looks like shit.

Thie quote says it all:

Looks like it should belong in the "Cars" movies.

Yep, first thing I though was this looks like something from cars. They would have been better off doing a modern take, scaled down.
