Anyone know if the old junkyard on hwy20 outside of East Troy is still open. Haven't been there since the 90's. The satellite view on google maps looks like there are still a lot of cars there. I don't remember the name though and a search for yards in East Troy didn't help.

Glad to hear there is still a chance it may be open.

Looking at teh Sat view of Van's in Waupun it looks like they crushed most of the stuff that was there last time I was there. Which is a shame, they had stuff from the 30's on up

Anyone remember the junkyard in Fredonia? Is that place still around? We used to take family trips there about twice a year lol... lots of old school tin in that place. Heard the EPA shut them down but never had any confirmation of that.

EDIT:
Looks like it's still open...

They were good too. I heard they crushed most/ all of the old stuff though. Haven't been there in years either.

Honestly some of the stuff there was simply rusty hulls anymore anyway, and wasn't worth any more than its weight in scrap, so I could see it being crushed. There was a really nice '63-ish Olds wagon when I was there last... 20 years ago or so... along with a '50 Dodge pickup that looked like it was driven into the place.
