omg I just got an e-mail from the producer of Pass Time, they're considering me as a contestant on the show next month!

How freakin cool would that be! :D

I saw Ken Herring at Gainesville raceway a couple years ago and dropped what I was doing to chase him down and introduce myself.

The show tapes on Sept 11th in Milan Mi, no info on when it will air though.

How about some help... If each one of you could offer "one piece of advice" to do well on the show, what is it??

I've been all about fast cars my whole life so I kinda know my way around, but I'm always willing to learn more.
When I watch the show I'm usually pretty close but could be better.

How about the one question, obviously I need to know if it's on spray, horsepower ect... but what else would you use to make your guess?
weight? tire? driving experience?

Hp is a good place to start, look at the tire on the car and if it has a cage. if you are close enough you can see if it has a 6 vs 10 point cage with the bar along the windshield. That will tell you how quick it may be. Go out to the track and watch some cars and chat with the owners.

from what I've seen on there, its usually more about the driver than the car, so I would tend to up my estimate by a half second for a shitty launch or missed gear, unless you can tell the driver knows their shit.

Only shitty thing is, even if your are dead on with what the car et's, there is no guarantee that they'll run it out the back door.

You may want to ask them if they are going to give it the beans all the way down the track.

Had an awesome time this weekend, I didn't win but had an early lead and then Ken stepped up for the win.
It's WAY easier playing the game sitting on the couch, I have to admit the lights and cameras were distracting and
made me a little nervous. The whole thing is kind of a blur.
It doesn't matter though, just being on the show was crazy fun.
