Where did you find the power?

Where did you find the power?

Higher boost with e85 I believe.

No, last year dyno was with C16 at around the same boost. There was a cam angle sensor problem / settings in the AEM.

At that time, I ran mid 11's @ 123 (436hp/370tq). I fixed the cam angle sensor issue and with no other changes ran 11.3 @ 134.

Over winter I upgraded the intake manifold to a new cast design, installed 2200cc injectors and converted to E85. Hard to say how much if any those improvements made. Fixing the cam angle settings were the biggest improvement.

Still looking for a video

500hp at 37psi? Seems kinda low, but then again I have no clue what your setup is.

LIL EVO

Well 500hp on a Mustang Dyno is generally 550-570 on a Dynojet and 630-650 at the crank

Since you are the evo\dsm master, what do you think a practical limit is for Evo's awhp wise as a street car on E85? I see a ton of 600awhp evos but anyone I've ever known with a DSM couldn't put parts into them faster than they were flying out. Now I'm hearing lore of some mystical 9 second DSM that is in fact streetable in the area... Just wanted your opinion ;)

500AWHP all day on an actual EVO, probably even more. A 35R would be a perfect street turbo. They run more timing, more efficient engine than the original 4g63 from 20+ years ago.

Or you could do this and more, but then you will never stop - http://lilevo.com/videos/4g63motivation/blackfloridaevo/chrisevo2.wmv

Made the trek today 2.5 hours north to a DynoJet and rolled off the trailer and onto the rollers.

http://www.lilevo.com/lilevo2/videos/evodyno.jpg

Some dialing in last night, didn't touch it otherwise.

First run 593hp, 528tq

Added 1 deg of timing..

Second run 616hp, 546tq

Added 1 deg of timing...

Last run, 637hp, 549tq

Runs were done at 42psi on E85, which at this time of year is technically E70. There's still some more left in her. The 272 cams and .63 exhaust side is choking things off after 8K or so. Peak power is around 6800RPM.

The only real changes from the Shootout 2011 / Buschur mustang dyno was a PTT twin disc/lightened flywheel and a Dynomax Ultraflow that replaced a Dynomax VT and a little more boost.

10.6@141mph, 37psi.

Last run of the night, I dropped the boost down to WG pressure, 23psi. 11.1@131mph

What kind of 60' times are you seeing? That trap is nice....I did 9.79@145 so in the top end it looks like that pulls really hard.

Not sure, only the left lane was working and all the other sensors were broke. 1.8-1.9 probably.

330 ft was 4.8, 1000ft was 9.1

The pounding an unsuspecting car would get from you on the street has got to be immense.
