Has anyone seen this? I just sold at auction for $308,000. It is one of two ever built and it was built for the 39-40 World's Fair.

I know it would totally ruin the value, but you could paint it from the inside and use plastic polish/ floor wax to make it shine. And you'd never have to worry about buffing out a scratch.

Why would you want to paint it? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a clear car?

I know, but that's what I think every time I see that thing. It's like one of those R/C car bodies, but full size...
