Pretty cool! 5.0 and a 5.8. What is old is new again...sort of.

In terms of a boosted car like that, I don't see too much advantage to going to 5.8 vs the current 5.4? Other than the history of an old 351/5.8 being there.

Still, methinks that factory 550 and 600hp pony cars is pretty cool. I'm not convinced though that we won't see the zl1 make the short jump to 600hp either, or whatever the ford engine ends up at.

638hp is for the ZR1 Corvette, the ZL1 Camaro will be 556HP which is a detuned LS9, dubbed the LSA.

Neat plan though! These Fords are starting to really take shape into nice cars these days!

I had just tuned a 3.7L 2011 Mustang V6 with a procharger last night which made 451hp and 368TQ on 10 psi. Have it been my first experience in or up close to a 2010+ Mustang, its a nice car finally! And thats coming from a diehard GM guy who would buy a 2011 + based off the new looks, new interior and the 5 liter of course!
