My buddy did a similar mistake in the burnout box, no fire but it blew apart a edelbrock upper intake on a 5.0. It sent shrapnel through the hood and fender

There is a video of the GLD/c5 fire. The guy was young and sprinted out of the car when it lit up. Somebody posted it up before I am sure...
