Anyone thought about one of these?

http://www.bananahobby.com/2136.html

I mean for $100 it seems like we could all have some fun out in a park somewhere with some airbattles. The person in the video has even said that they were aiming to hit each other and only light scuffs for the result?

Watch the youtube video of it on that site.

There is a BUNCH of different types of planes in that same price range, even teh classic blue angle and thunderbird planes

Do not buy from banana hobby. google them. Lots of complaints. I was looking at getting some planes also. Check the rc forums banana hobby is a joke along with there customer service.

i had just seen a youtube link for them with videos of the planes. might be a joke but was cool to see those planes either way.

Just sucks that the nitroplanes.com site barely has any selection compared to the others. wonder what Tower has?

Found what I think is the supplier to the bananahobby people through internet searches and found some VERY cool other planes. Just sucks you have to order a BUNCH of them at a single time.

Yes he is the supplier. Sucks banana hobby has so many issues with almost all there orders. I have been holding off on ordering because of it. I really want the p51 mustang.

HobbyTown in west allis has a real nice RTF P51 for $220.

Seemed cool.

I found that Kyosho has a neat F16 that should be pretty cool, just sucks that it doesn't have landing gear, haha.

If we could find a good priced/starter plane I'd be interested!

There are tons of trainers out there also you can get for really cheap with the radio and all.

tons of them out there yep.

i've done the nitro trainers, bi planes, aerobatic single wings, 2 P51 mustangs, and a pusher f18

those were all fun, but just too much hassle with the nitro stuff
