Pennsylvania and maybe South Cackalacky would be cheaper, but it also depends on where you want to live. The rest of the east coast, unless you consider Georgia east coast, is expensive unless you live in the sticks. Metro Milwaukee is the second most expensive place to live in the Midwest when you compare it to earnings and it's about as diversified as Michigan when it comes to industry. If you compare Milwaukee to quality of life, it's trying to compete with Cleveland (approaching no parks, crappy museum, not even a Nordstrom or a Tiffany's, but at least there are more bars than grocery stores and none of which is even a Kroger so food prices compete with Chicago, and stupid expensive plane tickets).

After the learning experience of moving to Metro Milwaukee, I tend to be a bit of a naysayer when it comes time to move to a new place. Mostly because of all the crap I missed.

Windstream is a pretty good place. I have distant extended family there. They tend to be a bit wanton about their acquisitions though.

Well windstream grabbed up Norlight then canned everyone in the brookfield area. So i jumped on a job down in the Greenville office. Did alot of research and went down there. Everything minus food is cheaper. Food is a tad bit more expensive.

Overall this is an awesome opportunity for him. I've said it a bunch, its a chance to start new and be whoever you want. People grow up and move on, look at Bobby doing the same thing.

That's pretty typical of them, at least they apparently are getting better at managing acquired talent. They used to just shitcan everyone instead of offering the talented ones jobs elsewhere.
