Mini fridge freezing up

I have a Haier brand mini-fridge I bought at Wal-Mart back in the summer of 2007 that in the last couple months will just freeze everything, even on the lowest setting. I unplugged it and let things thaw out then a couple days later plugged it in, same thing. Is it doomed? Low freon or something fixable? It's not essential to us but would be nice to have working.

Low on FreeeOn or plugged coils....

Prolly Freon as Mini-fridges are made like De-humidifiers....... SHIT !!!

They cost so little you have to wonder why there so cheap, I have spoke with guys that fix de-humidifiers and mini's and all they say " Copper just deteriorates away "

Copper deteriorates from freon? Hmm. I wish crap was made like it was back in the day, maybe less efficient but seems most things were a hell of alot more reliable. Oh well, wonder if this is even worth trying to repair, think I paid $100 for it, or if I should sell it as-is for cheap.
