Sorry I can't get you pic's right now....

However, I would rate the 500 (Youth model) as GOOD to VERY GOOD as it didn't get much use at all.

The 600 was my main hunting gun for years, so it has gotten a lot of use.
So of course it has scratches, the finish is not great, but it has no rust or corrosion.
It still works good. I would rate it as FAIR, it's basically a well-used, a well taken care of, gun.

bump for well taken care of guns the 500c was imaculate (sp?) It shoots every time always cycles shells. But it is a mossberg i expect it to last a long time.
