i like the taurus 24/7
they get a bad rap but with a lifetime warranty and the way mine worked i had no complaints

Hard trigger pull is my only complaint

Check out the SD9. Similar to the Sigma but lighter trigger. $389 + $20 transfer.

Smith & Wesson 5906. It will run forever. CDNN has them for $299 for good condition police trades.

You have to download their catalog for guns, on some they make you call for price. Some guys on www.smith-wessonforum.com got some and were happy.

i second the Taurus 24/7. It was the first gun I bought (in .45) and i love it. The build quality was good, the warranty was good, they have a big variety of finishes and caliber options. I also liked it because it had a traditional safety instead of a grip or trigger safety...which I prefer.

I personally don't like Glocks because of how they fit and feel in my hand, but a used Glock 17 or 19 would be hard to beat for an all around semi-auto pistola. Also, a used Springfield Armory XD would do the trick.

Not a gunsmith. I have a type 7 FFL which allows me to deal and manufacture.
