if a deck is bluetooth compatible for a car, does that mean you can get the microphone adapter and your phone will work with the system? or just a bluetooth capable audio device can connect?

Every bluetooth one I've owned had the capability to do it.

Yeah they have a separate mic that plugs in and then I usually run it into the A pillar, never had a problem that way. Definitely a great feature.
