I was in Dirty Stallis today to deliver some art to a client when I saw the coolest vanity tag. It wasn't anything like calling out a cars performance or anything like that. It was simply understated but correct. The car was a plain Chevy prizm, black in color and the plate said "CAR".
That's all, simple, generic, befitting the car it was on. That's what made it cool.

Meh, sounds like a waste of 20 bucks to me. Vanity lates gotta make you laugh IMO.

A personalized plate is personal therefore they can be as unique as people are. Some make you laugh, some make you scratch your head wondering what the meaning is, some are obvious like the 'car' plate (which I love for being beyond obvious), some are ridiculous, and some get people's (mainly female) underwear in a bunch like the plate on my car.....

I've lost count how many people I've seen in the rear view mirror taking pictures of mine :shades

Although anything telling you what the car is, is a waste of $20 - i.e. MY JEEP, DEBS BUG, 99 TAHO... so dumb.

Best one I ever saw was a DISABLED vanity plate, which read "MRCRIP". I even had a pic of it on my old phone. It was cool to see that they had a sense of humor about things.

Vanity plates are like tattoos. I like the idea, but I can't imagine what the hell I would get and not hate two weeks later. It would have to be funny.

Shouldn't you get a fast car before getting a fast plate? Just saying...

I want FRGLY for the Duc and ZRXTC for my ZRX. I dont think many are gonna get either one. But I'm not uber hip on the idea of an easily remembered plate.

No one has "IM GAY". You should get it before anyone else does.
