anyone know of any local shops that carry or could order a 35R battery? Autozone was confused when my dad asked them about it, Farm And Fleet only carry the 35, and Advanced Auto wants like $210 for them.. My WRX takes the R because Subaru set it up with the posts reversed.. and i don't want to extend the batt. cables. ill look around and try to make a few calls, but i appreciate any help.. thanks guys.

You could try Remy Battery on 43rd and Lincoln in Milwaukee. They do alot of work for the dealers too. If they don't stock it I bet they could get it.

I can assure you from a few personal and many second hand experiences the red top Optima is vastly overrated and not worth the money, go with the yellow top......

Probably has something to do with the fact that the OEM Subaru charging system sucks...

All the optimas are junk now. Buy a diehard platinum, which is built by odyssey.

Original battery? How do you know how many batteries have been in the car before you owned it?

because the manufactoring dates matched from mycar to the battery, and these cars came with that exact battery from the FORD plant.I was amazed my self, some guy at autozone had pointed it out to me..
