New tires put on today, the plastidip on the wheels obviously was no match for the tire machine, so off it came, followed by a quick clay, buff and wax. Definitely did not get out all the blemishes but for a daily driver and winter car with 110k on the clock, it looks pretty good. Might eventually need the Yoosof Touch :headbang

Anyways, here is a vid of the plastidip conming off and a few quick cell pics snapped...

Lol I thought this was a new car thread too. I will say the wheels didn't look to bad with that stuff on em.

How long did you drive with the Plasti-dip on?
I plasti-dipped my wheels, grille and the chrome around the windows 3 weeks ago and it's been holding up great so far.

plastidip was put on the wheels in december while they were off the car. Put them on sometime in late Feb or early March and they stood up to a few snows/saltings, quite a few car washes, etc and they looked awesome!

My roommate has a 2006 GTI and did his front grille back in december as well, held up all winter, still looks brand new!
