Weird. I'm thinking it was kept under a cover outside though, with the very minor rust on the underside.

My guess is $27,000

So fucking true. They always reminded me of GM putting that fucking boat anchor 305 in the f-bodies.

Nice truck. He has some other low mileage 80's cars as well that are very clean.

Look at those stock tires... seriously? Like they could even handle a v6.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder on that one. No way would I spend that kind of coin on that truck.

Yeah, that truck is a turd with that motor in it. Big block doesn't necessarily mean fast, it just means you get less than ten miles per gallon.

For the time they weren't horrid...compared to the 170hp 305 and 205hp 350 they were certainly a good improvement. I think it's stock 1/4 times you could reasonably expect 16.0 to 15.5...which again, for it's time wasn't horrid for a pick-up. It wasn't like the corvette even was a solidly 13 second car in those years...

...likewise, the 305 tpi's w/ 5 speeds were pretty quick, again for the time. High 14's.

Those years were interesting for trucks since the ford lightning came out with the 351HO...240hp (basically hipo intake, upgrade cam and ignition). I always gave the lightning the edge in desireability, but the SS had the presence that the lightning couldn't match.

This. Wouldn't pay more than a few thousand for that truck and even then that's asking allot.

I saw that and started laughing my ass off..Recall that the fuel economy was figured with the more optimistic old method....
