The Ram Long Hauler Concept Truck (http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/ram/long-hauler.html)

37,500 pound GVWR?!? Nearly 30,000lbs tow rating?!? 170 gallon fuel tank for a potential range of 3000++ miles?!? This is my dream truck.

Thats a 3500 series truck that desperatly wants you to think thats its actualy capable of doing a 4500 or 5500 series job. Since GM stopped making them nobody makes a real medium duty truck anymore, so I'm sure this thing will sell.

Its on a 5500 Chassis cab frame.

That must be the weakest 5500 frame ever made. Look at the frame rails on a chevy C5500 or a F550 The frame rails are way bigger than a regular truck and make it alot taller.

I'd rather get a F-750. It would probably cost less than that thing and be more capable and durable. Although the F-750 only has a 45-gallon tank. But you may be able to add a second one on and probably get different tank options for even more fuel.

The topic of large fuel tanks came up at work one day and we came to the conclusion the truck should hold fuel in proportion to how well your bladder can hold piss.
