That I would be a DSM owner...
Just picked up a 1997 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder GS-T, I did an even trade for my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. This eclipse is un molested and is bone stock with 177,000 miles. It seems to run very well and doesn't leak any fluids as far as I can tell so far. It does need a little TLC, the interior is very dirty, the power window and door buttons are not in place right and the buttons push down inside the door panel when you try to use them making it difficult to use the window or door lock buttons, it also sounds like the window is rattling around inside the door when the window is down, when the window is up it doesn't rattle so I will be looking in to that as well.
My plans are to keep this thing bone stock, fix it up a little and make it nice again, drive it for a little while and sell it later. I was a bit nervous as I knew pretty much nothing about DSM's except DSM stands for Dont Start Modding lol. Anyone know how reliable these engines are in stock form and what the usual life expectancy is for these engines in stock form? Photos are attached, the photos below is how it was before I brought it home and began cleaning it out. This is the first import I have ever owned but I think this will be a fun project.
