Alright,
I understand these shows are like fishing shows. For the hours and hours spent buying shit that ends up being nothing, they only show the couple of things that are worth some dough.

My g/f and I seem to be addicted to these two shows. They are pretty entertaining at best, especially with nothing else really on.

My issue, how fucking lucky do these people get sometimes? I mean seriously, they find some random wood backed, metal shaped tin horsehead. They want to trash it but the wife takes it to a collector guy, and it's worth $3000 retail for it and they sell it to the guy for $2000. Really? I mean again, I understand it's like the fishing show, but come on, it's like luck strikes at every corner

Dave Hester is an A Hole but he's good at playing the game. I think he does overpay for units a lot of the time however. Remember though, there is nothing factual about these shows. Everything is preplanned, staged, creatively edited etc. Still a fun show to watch. Kinda like Pawn Stars before it blew up and got all Hollywood

its a cool show.It would be fun to do if you had the extra cash.I like the old collector guy, hes not in it for the buck but he just has fun finding stuff.And who wouldnt have fun snooping through random people stuff,and you get to keep it...

Yup that was the dad and son team. You can tell everythings staged even talking to the collectors/experts after. That episode where barry finds those flare guns. The old dudes C6Z has no license plates.

The one I saw they had a 69 gto body/frame there in the yard. 90% of the parts they used came from the yard.
