so i did a disc brake conversion last fall on a 72 nova. just kinda want some advice on wether or not i should invest in a proportioning valve or if i can use the stock distribution block. it has manual brakes with drums in the rear.

If you bought a kit for the conversion the supplier can give you the best advice/choice of valve. Generally speaking the disc brakes will provide more stopping power and you need the correct proportioning valve so under hard braking the back of the car doesn't come around on you.

^ this. Call Summit or whoever puts the kit together and ask if you need the prop valve Michael...should be gravy
