Wife has a nice Sony point and shoot that is having issues with focusing, after a photo you can feel a mechanical vibration and it doesn't focus. Kid was running with the camera in the woods and tripped, of course the wrist strap was not on and it hasn't worked since. This camera is only about 2 years old and she really likes it, anyone do camera repairs?

There are replacement lenses for sale on Ebay for around 40 bux for the Sony Cybershot cameras. They come with instructions on how to install and have a tech support phone number. That is the route I am going with my old camera so I have one just for at work.

Dropped the wife's T100 at Christmas a couple years ago. Sent back to Sony, factory rebuilt for $144. I'm sure a new one is going to be about the same price as the repairs. See how much your wife love's it. I suggest the T200 unit as I have had great results with mine.

She has the T300, I wonder what the repairs would cost. I was looking to see if any forum members did repairs.
