Well after some thought the project is gone. Sold it last Wed. Might have lost a bit of cash, but if you figure the $300-$400 a new carpayment + insurance would cost me everymonth.
I probably came out pretty good. Saved $2500 +/- while owning it. I knew that with the money from the sale and the $5k or so in the Project Mustang budget a very straight and clean car could be bought. Mine was a little rough, and the former owner had done a pretty good job of hacking up the wiring.

Thought about buying this car when I bought mine but didn't want to cough up the cash at the time.
Seems like a nice clean basically untouched example of a Foxbody. Some boltons, full suspension and brake package, and some type of forced induction and I would have a very nice car. Not greedy for horsepower after the fiasco with my 90'LX. 400-425whp is plenty for a street car.

What do you guys/girls think?

Nice car. Only one thing wrong with your theory. You won't get 400-425 horse with a few bolt-ons. Unless of course you add racing stripes and a mean double stacker rear wing. Then you might have a chance.

i dont want to sound biast but i also think the capri's are cooler.They arnt as sharp or sporty looking but its nice to have a car that not every one and their cousins are driving..Ive seen some very sweet capri's on craigslist a few times..

91 Mustang Dove grey coupe 5.0 Aod. 3:27 gears, motor is stock and runs great. P/W, P/DL, P/M, cruise, it all works.
Pretty much a stock 5.0 with exhaust.

Trying to work a deal on this car. Only issue is seller wants a quick sale and I can't get away to pick it up for a couple
weeks. $4200 is asking price, think it's a fair deal.?

I am, just like to look around and see what's out there.
Have a mild touch of A.D.D. and when it comes to cars
it really kicks in. My brother lives in Milwaukee so when
the Capri is ready he can take a look at it for me. I do
like it because it is different. Only issue is no AC. It was
almost 90* down here today, and will only get hotter.

Do I need any of the heater components for the AC to work. Pretty sure he removed all that stuff. Pretty sure I could live with out the
AC, been doing it for awhile. Plus it would be a second car.

Yep waiting on the Capri. DRK said he ran into an issue and it won't
be ready by the begining of June like I had hoped, he said maybe July.
Asked him to keep me informed and I will be waiting.
