TV Repairman Needed:

I have a LG 50" Plasma TV that is pixelating green specs all over the screen. I called the Geek Squad at Worst Buy, talked to a repair rep he said will need some new boards, etc, $800 to fix it. I can buy a new one cheaper so F that. But some AV websites mention some Ya and Yb adjustments inside the TV that may make it better, but wont fix it.

The tv is in the basement and want to use it for the kids games and movies so it is not a primary source of tv viewing.

Anyone know how to do this or who can?

They turned me into a TV repair-man working on my Mitsu Rear Projection CRT. Nice repair write-ups. If your problem is common, im sure there is a procedure written that is as easy to follow as making mac-n-cheese.
