A buddy of mine bought a Springfield Armory XDm .45 a couple months back and has only fired a hundred or so rounds through it. He has kept great care of it and offered to sell it to me for $425. I've wanted one of these for a while and the wife finally approved. Does this sound like a good price? I'd like to also hear your opinions on the gun itself. Thanks

ide say thats a pretty good price, thats around what regular Xd's go for new. my dad has a Xd (M) in 9mm and it is the most comfortable/smoothest pistol ive shot so far, it was no trouble at all to shoot one handed or load either ( broken hand at the time ) im getting a Xd or Xd (M) over leave....

He's got a "Judge" as well he's dumping for about the same price. I'm definitely getting the XDm...I'm pretty excited

Thats about what the judge goes for new. But the xdm is a good price esp. if it comes with all the accy's.

Out of curiosity - how is that Veridian green dot? Any other must have items?

FYI, $425 is less than I can get them for at dealer cost, the XDm that is.
