Any issues with these cars? We looked at a maxima earlier and the wife didn't like it, yesterday we found a dealer with a 2007 GXP with the 5.3 v8 and the car is loaded. any major issues with these cars? How do the trannys hold up with the v8 and FWD? If anybody has one what kind of gas mileage do you get? We want to unload a jeep liberty that gets 17 mpg on the highway, I know edmunds says the car gets 18 city and 26 highway. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what these cars need to run, I will probably check the internet and some pontiac forums to see what they are saying about it.

from what I read tranny issues. Also my 04 GTP the intermediate steering shaft had lube issues leading to a lot of vibrations. Check out clubgp.com

ls1tech has a section on the fwd v8 cars that might be worth checking out.
