Official Event Flyer for the upcoming Racing for a Cure a Quarter Mile at a Time event at Byron Dragway. Feel free to print and share with your family, friends, and local businesses. Every little bit helps and we greatly appreciate all the support! This is for such a worthy cause that touches the lives of so many people ....

Proceeds from this event will be going to the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. This program provides FREE services to women that need, but can't afford breast health and/or breast cancer care. The program pays for women to have mammograms, breast exams, pelvic exams and Pap tests. They will even pay and provide transportation for the individuals to get to the clinics and offices to receive the help they need.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and is the most common cancer found in women. There are over 1 million new cases of breast cancer found in women every year. All women are at risk and in some rare cases, so are men.

"The Aerospace Components NHRA Unleashed event scheduled for July 15-16, has been removed from the schedule. The officials at NHRA and Cordova Dragway Park have agreed to cancel the upcoming event due to persistant weather and economic issues beyond the control of the facility. Racers that have purchased entries for the July event should contact the track directly for reimbursement. The Cordova Dragway Park track management and NHRA sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

In the next couple of days, NHRA will announce a very positive and exciting development that will aid in the growth of the Aerospace Components NHRA Unleashed Series. The exciting details are being finalized, so stay tuned for the announcement that will take this Heads-up, Index racing format through the end of the 2011 racing season. "

We are packed up and loaded to head down to Great Lakes Dragaway for the last Racing for a Cure a Quarter Mile at a Time Event of 2011! This is where it all began, so lets end the season with a bang! Gates open at 9am! All proceeds and donations collected at the Car Chix booth while benefit the Wisconsin Well Woman Program.

So Come on out! Bring all your family and friends to enjoy some of the most action packed drag racing in the Midwest for a worthy cause! We will be having raffles, free giveaways, activities for the kids, drag racing, car & bike show, live music and much more!
