Hey all, now that the sun is finally starting to peek out more than a few hours per day and the salt & grime is getting off the roads, I'm looking for a few nice places around Milwaukee to do some photoshoots for my car and a couple friends. We are looking for industrial locations, empty parking garages, and anything else you may recommend.

Thanks in advance!

This has to be one of the top ten questions asked on BCM.

(not trying to sound bitchy though)

Maybe not. A quick search isn't coming up with the threads I thought I remembered.

I wonder how many new people are here to our area who might want this very info. Hell I been here a while and cant find them all when I want to drive there right away. I end up texting pork or something.

Wasn't there a nice long thread with locations? My searching skillzz weren't good.

Down by the lake is always a nice location on a nice day, especially the art museum (although some may consider it "overdone"). Holy Hill area is nice for scenic backgrounds, especially in the fall.

I guess let's start with listing places we've gone to take pictures of our cars and where we want to go. I'll start.

Have been:
Under the Hone bridge
National Warehouse
Lakefront by Bradford Beach

Want to go:
*This is why I started the thread

Yes. Any specifics that the rest of us should know about?

i went to a place in racine, dont know how many of you know of the location. but its pretty killer for industrial buildings and such for backdrop. Only issue is there isnt a ton of room there to get low and far away. dont know the exact location but can find out if you want i know it wasnt far off highway C. the pics in this thread were taken there.

Last summer, I put in some new curb and gutter at the Racine Water Plant I believe it was if anyone can help me out. Anyways, it's a deadend with about 80 feet of beach, then the lake and a pier that goes out to a lighthouse. I would have to be there at 6am and let me tell you, that is a sight! The low sunlight off to the side with the lighthouse in the background. It was awesome and all I could think about was this is a great spot for some pics of the cars....if you get there early enough.
