no, its not a '60's Triumph, its not a bonneville, its not the 2.4 liter Rocket...

its the real rocket:

2007 Triumph Daytona 675. Picked it up last season and am sort of doing a little overhaul this winter. Its actually my first bike, though I spent one season on a '87 VT500 Ascot. Having said that, I'm not much of a spirited rider just yet.

It was mostly stock when I got it, but over the winter I'm adding (or already have added):
flush turn signals
ducati style mirrors with led blinkers on the front side of the mirrors
HIDs
Arrow exhaust slip on
ebay levers
anodized gas cap
helibars (basically a riser clip on)
frame sliders
axle sliders
spool sliders
integrated tail

and am either painting or powdercoating:
rearsets
kickstand assembly
midpipe
exhaust heat shield
brake calipers
brake rotors
shift linkages
engine
basically anything that is gold on the bike.

And.. so yeah.. can't freakin' wait till its riding weather! :banana

The 675's were hands down one of the best little rockets made. Congrats on a sweet bike

<--- my triumph. Lol. Awesome bikes. You'll love it. I have pretty much the same mods, less the poder coating and heli bars.

Awesome, a couple other 675'ers out here! I've never seen another Triumph on the road outside of I think one Thruxton (and outside of while at the Triumph dealers)

Couple of updated pics from the work I did this winter... I have the flushmount Watsen turns signals and levers sitting on my counter waiting to be installed. Put on about 60 miles in the last two weeks. Cold, cold miles hah!

I was able to match the frame pretty damn well over the winter. Its a tough color to match with powder. In the below picture, compare against the black engine.. Its not a black frame, but there is some metallic/blue/gray in there also.

Do you have more pictures of the mirrors with the built in turn signals? I've never seen those for the Daytona and they look pretty slick. Nice Arrow pipe too!

Heres the best I can do right now. Laptop is out of comission so I have no way to get photos off my D80 onto the interwebs, these are just old iPhone in poor lighting...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the integrated turn signal mirrors cost and where did you buy them from? Looks real clean and crisp.

$230 shipped from www.moto-science.com

They're a small operation, good guy. Are you on triumph675.net?

$230 is difficult to justify on mirrors for me, but they definitely look good. I'm not a member on triumph675.net, I've just been lurking the forum since 2007.

Definitely not chump change for mirrors. Meh.. Tax returns...

I drove 350 miles to Dayton, OH hoping it would fit in the back of a Dodge Minivan w/Stow & Go to get mine. The good news is that it DID after we removed the windscreen. If it didn't have a lowering linkage it wouldnt have though.

Also, you work at Carlisle. :D

I feel like the only things left for the bike are suspension upgrades. There are little things I want to do for commuting sake (12v power, gps mount) but outside of that... not much else I want to do with it.
