What is the deal with the oval stickers that people put on there cars with 2 letters on them. I always end up seeing them bmw's and shit. They are usually a white sticker with a black oval around it and black letters. Does anyone know what that is supposed to mean?

What about the ones that have numbers on them? 26.5 and so on

26.5 is the upper threshold limit of people who care about stickers on cars.

The 26.2 and 13.1 are for those that are runners. 26.2 is a full marathon since that's how many miles you run. Then of course the 13.1 is for a half marathon. There may be others for other events like a triathalon or some other running event

People guys didn't know what those stickers were? Maybe people in the US are as uncultured as they say...
Guess it isn't common knowledge. The stickers are abbreviation for various EU countries, usually corresponding to the plates on the car.

I guess I'm cultered since I know what they reference but think it's pretty lame, like 95% of stickers on cars. It's something a really white person would do:

Great books/blog BTW :D.

Last sticker I ever put on my car was a picture of a cabbage with the words. GOT KRAUT? It was on my golf :)

Here in the US, might be kind of lame, but in the EU some countries require the stickers be affixed by law. Makes identifying people from a different country easier, not something you need in the US when you only have two border countries.

Exactly. My reference is to cars we see in the US, not across the sea or on another continent :D . Over there, sure, there is a reason for it. Here it's pointless.
