So... what do you have around your office style workspace? I really have nothing at the moment. I was thinking of building a snap-on mini garage on my desk. It would have one of the snap-on toolbox coin banks, mini jack and a model car. hah.

Just wondering if anyone else has some cool stuff??

I have a lot of small prototype bicycle parts and a Hot Wheels Vette that a customer sent me out of appreciation. Oh and a piston from Dr. Buick's turbo SBC GN from last year.

Mine is pretty boring at school right now. I had a fish tank on it, but moved it to another spot in my classroom so it would be easier for my 3rd-5th graders to sit and watch them swim.

I do have a football helmet behind my desk thanks to a health/PE teacher that uses my room. The "N" was already changed to a "W" at the beginning of the year, but he noticed right away. :goof

That's bigger than the old Metro engines Tommy.

Its not quite 1 liter and only makes about 36 big ones... not sure how that stacked up to the avg metro.

I've always kept my desk clean and empty. My OCD doesn't allow clutter. All my cables are tied up neatly. This way they never know if I'm going to show up tomorrow.

I have always tended to horde empty pop cans in my overhead storage no matter where I've worked. Sometimes people are interested when I take them home.

I used to keep a piece of 2/0 cable on my desk but I got tired of people asking about it.

I used my 2/0 cable to beat nosy people with questions as to why I have that on my desk.

Eh mine is mostly random crap. Some pictures of my cat, and my favorite part, the shelf-o-parts.

can't take a picture of mine but mini golf bag filled with pens, pencils, higlighters and eraser. Stainless cork 18" ruler, thread guage, drawing compass...a company ceramic mug, a packers hologram travel mug, a stainless travel mug, overhead rack with reference books, side table filled with truck build info, prints for marking, prints for approval, sample parts on the floor....two 21" monitors... I usually have one running Catia and the other everything else... a picture of a 60's era 8x8 truck...a dry erase board with random drawing/concept scribbles....post-it notes....everywhere with tasks, contacts and update info, and the cuop de grace...my get fuzzy daily calendar

Nothing auto related on mine. A Bob & Brian bobblehead, Jim Paschke & Jon McGlocklin bobblehead, autographed Ryan Braun baseball, mini Brewers helmet autographed by Molitor, Yount, Ganter and Cooper and something from my fiance. Now that I think of it it could use a model car or something. I did recently post my gradeschool "diploma" on one of the walls for a laugh after finding it at my parents house.

That's a good idea. Honestly, why would you ask about a piece of 2/0 cable when you work for an electric utility?

I also had a small piece of 4/0 used for the service to the building that I used to keep screws from rolling off my desk. I kept that around because I actually got to cut that piece off.
