the forum link no longer works at the top of the page. I believe since it rewrites the url you need to have it point to /forum/ instead of /index.php. Just thought I would let you know.

EDIT: nevermind, the issue seems to be elsewhere. I can go to http://brewcitymuscle.com/forum or /index.php and get to it but not with the WWW attached in front. May be my side though. Clear cache time.

OK upgrading to from 4.0.3 to 4.1.2 (latest) plus the publishing suite. The board will be offline again, but not nearly as long as the 3.8.4 -> 4.0.3 upgrade. The re-indexing took forever.

Added a new garage. I like this VB Pro Garage better than the previous vbPicGallery, which also wanted another $25 bucks to make it compatible with VB 4.1.2.

Free one is better. It also has a time slip plugin. I'll re-do the script off the front page based on timeslips in the new garage as soon as we have some vehicles are posted.

It's almost 2:00am. I cant see straight anymore... going to bed.

I've been working on this since Friday almost non-stop. I don't think you have any idea how intricate the CSS styling of Vbulletin sites are. It's a lot of work. There are only a handful of sites running custom versions of the VB v4.1.2

Trying to make something look good at 1024x768 and 1920x1080 are considerations.

This color scheme is VERY easy on the eyes if your monitor has proper contrast. If it doesn't, then text may be difficult to read. I've been testing on 5 different monitors/LCDs. I have to test against all the different browser versions. Fix broken elements in plugins. Fix styling in those plugins.

This would have to be done for every single template I put together.

It's going to take time, but that old theme is gone. I'll try to get a brighter colored theme put together as time allows. It will be user selectable which template you want to view.

Thanks to the 15 people who donated. I'll be looking for your input especially.

I'm willing to bet its your monitor. Looking at it on my 2 LCD's, it's stunning. On my older 19" CRT, I really don't care for it.

I work with a computer all day...the darker background is preferred with light text. Staring at a bright white screen gives me a headache... all my CAD settings have dark backgrounds just for this reason.

OK I think I know where it comes from. But I cant say why it randomly fails. I noticed that Teufelhunden has "Vehicles ^" under his avatar and it works. Korndog has a car in garage but no "Vehicles" under his avatar. At some point the board was inserting the HTML incorrectly, but seems to be working fine now. (I hope).

To reset your garage avatar thing just reset the primary image.
