Its been wrecked and failed emissions. When I drove it it was blinking service stabilty system on the dash. He blamed that one on steam cleaning the engine. :rolf So much for the one owner new car trade line he tried to tell me. I hate small lots.

:rolf I remember a Yukon Denali that was found to have been in an accident after it arrived from the auction, it had a mind of its own. Doors would lock randomly, occasional loss of all lighting (included the dash turning off). Accidents if not completely repaired properly can definitely make things interesting.

Yep, i have the link bookmarked for all future use. :) Part of me wants to say I am being wayy to picky about this truck. But I don't know how bad the accident was. But you are correct, all you need are a couple pinched wires somewhere and you can have loads of fun.

Tom if you are having a bad feeling about it, dont get it. When I was looking at vehicles when I bout my Mustang, I had looked at and driven an 04 gt in sonic blue with compairable miles to what I got, and something just didnt seem right about it, so I didnt buy it.....I am glad I made that decision even though I went with my third color choice.

Didn't work for me for our VW.:( I know its been in at least one accident, but it told me "Please ask the dealer for a copy of an AutoCheck report for this vehicle."

Said the same thing to me but i had the vin put it wrong. Fixed it and it worked fine.

Well, The Short version is.

I went to Lenz Truck in Fond Du Lac. Truck wasn't perfect like he claimed. Told me one thing on the phone, then got there and drivers power seat was broken. And Tailgate was starting to bubble up and rust out. Looked at my car for trade in purposes told me 4500 site unseen. Told him I would need 5500 to make the deal which is what KBB says its worth. He said that should be doable once they see it.

Once I drove it and we talked numbers they wouldnt budge off sticker of $17495. And then they still said 4500 for my car when I said I needed more for the trade. He went and talked to his boss and came back and said oh sorry he won't go that high, now we will only give you 3500 for the car.... Ended up walking out before wasting another breath.

Looking to stay under 20K with as low of miles as possible. Just no white or Pewter(hate that damn color.:rolf) 03+ is a must to stay within the requirements of my loan approval.

Nice trick! I found some sad history on my Camaro and my S10, surprisingly that was not in my initial carfax for the Camaro, and I never cared to do one for S10 because it was so cheap.... But all i got to say is, front end and fixed object are never good in the same sentence on a title check... and for both! Doh!

The one I have is an 01 in pewter. Guess that one won't work lol!
