I've emailed about 50 people on craigslist and I'm convinced I suck at Craigslist. Everyone who bothers to return my call / email says the cars (http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=5513164&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1#) sold. WTF they seem to be going QUICK. help me find a car, find me a gp and I'll give you $50

Or even if you can find a 94 to 96 w b4u leather and a sunroof (http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=5513164&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1#) I'd pay 1200 for it.

otherwise 97+ gt or gtp (no se please) that's about it, as long as it runs drives, and is reliable (http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=5513164&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1#).

wow I had the same luck on craigslist for nearly 10 days calling about anything from cavaliers, to sunfires, to mustangs, camaros, grand prix's...etc. Out of all the calls I placed, I only had 2 people answer. Only 1 person actually returned a message (Just to tell me its sold), and no one else responded to emails, text messages (when they said in their ad to text any time) and phone calls with voice mails left. I never had such issues buying a car off craigslist before.

I will keep my eyes and ears open for you. Do you only want a GP or will you consider anything else?

front wheel drive GM really. GP preferred, but beggars can't be choosers.

Id probably pay up to 3k for a grand prix GT midnight blue metalic with a sunroof. I really don't care about mileage if that helps. On a heavy week I'll put 1500 miles on the car, a light week, 500 ,yep I drive a lot.

ebay is easier. Craigslist is a crap shoot for anything cheap and running. People check it litteally every 10 minutes.

there were like 5 grand prixs on ebay nationwide, and they're all above what I want to pay, Especially when in the fine print they throw in a '$399 doc and license fee added to final bid price'

Craigslist > ebay

Craigslist FTW!!! Just gotta look more often and be the first to respond. I'm on there several times a day and I'm not even looking to buy, lol.

Yep CL for the win. As I type this I'm on a megabus heading to Iowa City to pick up a 98 Olds Intrigue with a cracked windshield for $900 bucks. :banana1:

If you have a android smart phone they have an app that notifies you when one of your "searches" finds an add that is posted. It lets you get the jump on everyone else, lol

i havent found a grand prix, and my tarns was pretty much doa, so I found a 98 Olds Intrigue in Iowa City for $900. Cracked windshield, was in a hail storm, so it's about a 10 footer with some dents on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. Other than that, not bad for a $900 car. But would still like another gp.

My old grand prix gtx went for $2000 when the guy I sold it too turned it into CarMax. Salesman picked it up right away.

Fuck that makes me sad. I would have put $2000 cash in his hand on the spot for it.
