With the weather finally getting warmer, time to think of something to do outside. Would anyone be up for a track outing? Nothing crazy, just normal events like 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 (1 mile), and 3200. We could also do a shot-put or some sort of throwing competition. I'm also open to other types of competitions. If nothing else, at least we would all get a good workout.
Location would be open, I sometimes run at the New Berlin West track in summer and there's usually no one else around.
I was thinking two dates. One in April/May, another in July/August.
Anyone game?

actually, something like this wouldn't be a bad idea...but I would think maybe not straight up track. I'd be game though, but right now recovering from a stress fracture (too much running at too high a weight).
I wouldn't mind a swim meet...just to swim against animal (he'd swim us out of the pool).
Actually, anyone up for the pewaukee triatholon? Perfect first triatholon for anyone...not crazy long or hard, but enough to be more than satisfying when done...you feel like you've done something cool.
400yd swim, 15-17 mile bike, 3.1 mile run...good times.
Maybe do a pub crawl afterwards...

I like the Pewaukee Triathalon but dont think I could get ready in time.
A "Case Race" is always a good time.

Did someone just get off P90x? Men + Car Site = elbow grease, wives, kids, beer, belly's and wings.
Not always the case, but I imagine your best bet is BCM football, softball, volleyball and maybe basketball for the nice weather, which might include a BBQ with any, :thumbsup.
Good luck though. :)

I will have to discuss this with my trainer, Chris Mackenzie.
Is this a steroid free event? If so, Tom Billegen is immediately disqualified (that SOB is huge!).

I'd think it should be drug free not just roid free as per normal rules for organized athletics, but that may disqualify a lot of our participants pool lol :)

no blood doping..
I always thought that was kindof genious whoever came up with it.
Its arguable that it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference for someone hanging out here though. I doubt theres top notch enough people in their given sport on bcm to take any kind of advantage off blood doping.

I didn't know they had significant sources of water in Montana. It must've been hard learning to swim in a trout stream...:D

In Montana they learn to swim in glaciers first. Makes water a lot easier to move through when you leave there for shittier pastures :thumbsup
