With another Saab... It finally hit 190k, and we figured it was time... It's been good as gold, but we just couldn't pass up the deal with all the rebates, and incentives... It was actually cheaper buying new than used.

It's a 2010 9-3 2.0T 6-Speed, with all the toys...

Anyways, on with the pics...

Why are the badges so cheaply/poorly made?

Btw, that yellow/gold is one of my all time favorite car colors, even if I don't love the car. Guess I'm more of a Volvo guy, nice buy though!

Isn't the 9-3 basically a wrx? Could of swore I heard that they share the same platform.

The 9-2x is a WRX.

And we never had any delamination issues with the badges... But I know that the Saab dealerships are very good about replacing them, even out of warranty. You just have to ask. I actually have a couple spares around for the old car, they said that we might need them and never did.

Oh and the old color is Lime Yellow, which is like a Lime Green color... Kristie had been looking for a replacement one of those for a long time, they're extremely rare.

Even the dealerships are bizarre!

I just don't get the whole SAAB thing I guess. I liked the idea of a Saab-aru but still can't get down with that car either. Looks nice. Can't say I liked that yellow-green color though either :rolf Guess I just don't get it LOL

Nice car Joe! So how long are you going to keep this one?

Had the convertible for over 3 years, and put 144k miles on it... It had 191k on trade in... I think that's longer than most people keep their cars (at least mileage wise).

Thanks Coop, this thing's a blast to drive with the 6-Speed...

And on why the Saab thing? They're just an excellent value for a well built and well equipped car. You seriously can't get more options on anything for the money... Plus they don't cost an arm and a leg to maintain like it's other Luxury car counterparts...

Yup, Kristie drives to and from northern IL every day and the thing was a phenominal car... Hence the reason we got another Saab.

I always pictured saabs as " that 1 uncles " ugly 1/2 sisters deformed brother that can't stop drooling and coloring on himself with hideous colors...........

Early SAABs were quirky cars, ignition switch on the floor, the basic design, and all that, but they were always good cars. The newer SAABs tend to be nice cars too. I get the whole SAAB thing. I nearly bought on a few years ago, but it had a bad turbo.

Ignition Switch is still in the center console... I think the only ones that didn't have it in the center console were the 9000s.
