any car haulers in here....schaumburg to hartford needed today....

Car hauler needed ASAP, ive been dealing with getting my STi trasnported from houston texas to hartford for the last 2 weeks, my car is sitting in schaumburg Illinois right now and due to a BS excuse from truck owner that the driver has a stomach flu and cant make the 2 hr drive. Is anyone available to pick up and deliver today? i know its short notice and not sure if anyone has a car hauler or not but just searching for options, this trucking company is giving me the run arround and want it out of their hands as soon as possible.....

Well if you want it that bad, or they want to get rid it that bad, just slap some legit plates on it, and take the chance and drive safely.

It isn't the worst thing you could do. I've done this plenty of times, save yourself the coin and if possible have some paperwork handy during the trip just in case, but honestly if you drive safely you shouldn't have any problems.

Then again just because you don't have the title doesn't mean you can't drive it home, then again if you bought it two weeks ago the legal window to drive it without registration has expired.

Do you guys have Menards down there that rents the pickup for hauling? Go there, rent the truck, rent a tow dolly or trailer from uhaul, get the car, return the stuff all in one day.

1. I'm almost 100% sure they don't have hitches.

2. A tow dolly and an awd car do not mix, you'll fry the center diff.

i could get a uhaul trailer but i dont have a truck or a hitch and all my buddies are working today that have trucks, i guess ill just wait till monday i cant drive it anyways according to my bank they wont have the title until march 24th lol so ill have made 2 payments before i can drive my sti......what an adventure this has been........

I drove my 05 STi home catless and straight piped with no plates past tons of state troopers and other cops with zero problems. I know CTR has a few people that haul cars maybe ask there if you're a member?
